Vice President to address 50th convocation of Utkal University at Bhubaneswar in Odisha today

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will address the 50th convocation of Utkal University at Bhubaneswar in Odisha today. Mr Naidu will award doctorate degrees to 41 scholars and gold medals to 90 students for the year 2019-20.

He will also award Honoris Causa degrees to five eminent persons that include RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Comptroller and Auditor General of India Girish Chandra Murmu.

The Vice President is on a two-day visit to Odisha.  Yesterday, he attended the 600th birth anniversary function of Adikabi Sarala Das as the chief guest in Cuttack.
