Secretary, DoE in Finance Ministry T V Somanathan designated as new Finance Secretary

IAS Officer T V Somanathan who is serving as Secretary, Department of Expenditure in the Finance Ministry has been designated as the Finance Secretary.
He is a 1987 batch IAS Officer of Tamil Nadu Cadre. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved it today.
