Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana will be launched across 75 Locations in 17 zones and 7 Production Units of Railways
The Railways will train 50,000 youth in the age group of 18 to 35 over three years.
The aim is to impart training skills to the youth in various trades to bring qualitative improvement.
The training will be provided in four trades — electrician, welder, machinist and fitter.
The training would be provided free of cost and participants would be selected based on their matriculation marks.
