Khelo India University Games: Bangalore City University beat Guru Nanak University in men's hockey Final

Defending Champion in Men’s hockey, Bengaluru City University (BCU) defeated Guru Nanak University 3-0 in the final match of the 2nd Khelo India University Games on Sunday at Bangalore. Striker Mutagar put Bengaluru City University ahead in the 28th minute converting a penalty corner. In the 51st minute BCU's Vasanth Kumar scored another goal while Mutagar sealed BCU's gold with another fine goal at the hour mark.

Savitribai Phule University took the bronze after beating Punjabi University 4-2 in the shootout. The two teams were level at 2-2 after the regulation time.
