India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 141 crore mark; Recovery rate stands at 98.40 percent

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 141 crore mark. Union Health Ministry said, more than sixty-six lakh nine thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

The Ministry said, seven thousand 286 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.40 percent. Till now, more than three crore 42 lakh 23 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19.

The country reported seven thousand 189 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India's active caseload is around 77 thousand. Presently the active cases constitute 0.22 percent of the country's total positive cases, which is the lowest since March last year.

The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 67 crore 10 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
