I&B Ministry issues advisory to all Pvt General Entertainment TV channels to promote awareness of national helpline numbers

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued an advisory to all Private General Entertainment television channels to promote awareness of national helpline numbers. The channels have been asked to promote the helpline numbers by way of a ticker or other such appropriate ways at periodic intervals, especially during prime time.
 
The National Helpline of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for Covid related queries is - 1075, the Child Helpline Number of Ministry of Women and Child Development is - 1098.  For Senior Citizens of Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu,Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the Helpline number of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is - 14567. The Helpline number of National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) for psychological support is - 08046110007.
