Home Minister Amit Shah stresses on importance of coordination among police forces from different states for smart policing

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the police had to stay two steps ahead of the criminals and technology is very important for the same. The constable and head constable would also have to be techno-friendly. He said this while addressing the 48th All India Police Science Congress meeting organized at Central Police Training Academy (CPTA), Bhopal.
Mr. Shah also disclosed various programs like Police Technology Mission, Forensic Science University, and Finger Print Based NAFEES system launched for modernization of police.  He said that this will lead to the flow of information and accessibility of data to the grassroots level of every state.  Mr. Shah said that a Forensic Science University would also be set up in Bhopal.
Later, Amit Shah also participated in several programs during his day-long visit to Bhopal.  and addressed the 'Conference of Forest Committees'. He also distributed bonus amounts to the dry leaves collectors. Mr. Shah attended the roadshow and addressed a meeting of party office bearers, leaders, and workers at the state BJP office.
