DRDO successfully flight-tests indigenously developed MPATGM

This missile is for infantry and Parachute (Special Forces) of the Indian Army.
It is 'Soft' launched from a canister using an Ejection Motor.
The missile is incorporated with state-of-the-art Miniaturized Infrared Imaging Seeker along with advanced avionics.
It works on fire and forget principle. It means the missile guidance does not require further guidance after the launch and still hit the target without the launcher being in line-of-sight of the target.
